As part of a comprehensive approach to preventing and addressing violence against women and girls, USAID’s Tejiendo Paz has provided culturally relevant and personalized attention to 737 survivors through trusted local partners, disseminated violence against women and girls prevention communication campaigns in four local languages that reached an estimated 70,000 people in the Western Highlands, and supported community-led development of four inter-institutional reporting routes.
