Around 60 percent of the Senegalese population works in agriculture and food crop production, yet the country still grapples with food insecurity and import dependency. Two companies supported by the USAID West Africa Trade & Investment Hub are redefining the agricultural sector in Senegal while changing lives for the better. Agro Boye Business and Biosene are empowering Senegalese farmers and providing jobs for women and youth, boosting the economy from the ground up.
