Volunteers participate in an exercise to develop teamwork skills, self-confidence and trust during a volunteer training. Working in some of the country’s most crime-affected and impoverished communities, Outreach Centers volunteers and the youth they serve face an untold number of challenges— poverty, violence, peer pressure, a transnational family and more.
