Partnering with local organizations in Northern Ghana to build social cohesion

The Center for Conflict Transformation and Peace Studies (CECOTAPS) brings people together to study peace and also to learn how to transform their daily disputes and daily conflicts into opportunities. With a grant from USAID’s Office of Transition Initiatives, the center is working in Northern Ghana to better understand the farmer-herder divide and to build effective, sustainable ways to resolve their issues in a peaceful manner. The USAID/OTI Littorals Regional Initiative is implemented by Creative Associates International.
