Center to first focus on shifts and new trends caused by economic impacts of COVID-19

The Center for Migratione Economic Stabilization is led by noted expert Manuel Orozco, Ph.D., who joined Creative after more than 20 years at the Inter-American Dialogue em Washington, DC.

In addition to his new role at Creative, Orozco is a Senior Migration Fellow for theCenter for International Development at Harvard University and Senior Migration and Remittances Advisor for theInternational Fund for Agricultural Development. He holds a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Texas at Austinan M.A. in public administration and Latin American studiesand a B.A. in international relations from the National University of Costa Rica.
