Eileen Hoffman is a senior economic development professional with 25 years of international experience designing, managing, and providing technical support to economic growth activities worldwide.
She has served in a variety of roles on projects in Romania, Sérvia, Montenegro, Haiti, and West Bank and Gaza, as well as DC-based global projects for USAID and private sector donors, advancing private sector engagement, market systems development, MSME growth, job creation and entrepreneurship. She has significant experience leading economic growth teams, driving technical excellence, advancing thought leadership and cultivating learning and knowledge-sharing across projects.
As the Vice President of Creative’s Economic Growth Division, she is responsible for leading the team as it collaborates with donors and communities to design and implement approaches that strengthen the capacity and resilience of local partners and communities while building more prosperous and inclusive economies.
Eileen joined Creative from Global Communities, where she served as the Vice President of Program Quality and Accountability, and where she previously led the economic development unit and served in economic growth roles on several projects. Eileen spent nine years at Chemonics as a Senior Advisor and Senior Global Practice Lead for the Economic Growth and Trade Practice, where she served as a leading expert in economic development, fostering relationships and coordinating activities with clients, parceiros, technical experts, industry organizations and global staff to develop new programs and foster technical excellence and innovation.
Eileen holds a B.A. in International Relations & Business from the University of San Diego and an International MBA in International Business from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business.
