Elizabeth Mazyck (Zyck) Baggett has more than 20 years of professional experience managing technical, administrative and financial aspects of international development projects.
She is experienced at building the capacity of government and civil society institutions, with a practiced knowledge of the technical dimensions of institution-building and interventions focused on decentralization and land governance.
Zyck served as technical specialist for USAID’s Liberia Land Management Activity supporting the implementation of the new statutory law governing customary land and its integration of traditional customs and practices. Précédemment, as DCOP for the Mali Sub National Governance Program, she led the project’s cross-cutting services of Communications, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Gender and was responsible for effective and logistical planning across components and coordination with local subcontractors.
Combined with her 11 years as a Project Manager with Tetra Tech, Zyck is practiced at managing USAID contracts, assuring systems and procedures for compliance, recruitment, budget management and grants and subcontracts.
