Rebecca serves as Creative’s Senior Technical Director in Creative’s Education for Development Division where she provides technical leadership and direction to Creative’s team of education advisors to ensure high-quality support for education projects.
She brings with her years of experience providing technical assistance to literacy-focused projects, ground-breaking research and the management of education programs globally. Avant la création, Rebecca spent 10 years at the American Institutes for Research, where she focused on literacy programming in multilingual learning environments. She served as project director for the USAID-fundedLAC Reads Capacity Program and oversaw the development ofRedLEI, an early literacy network across Central America and the Caribbean. En outre, she published asystematic review on early literacy in the Latin America and Caribbean region through the Campbell Collaboration.
She has extensive experience in Central America and the Caribbean, as well as West Africa, Ethiopia and Central Asia.
Rebecca has her doctorate in International Education Policy and Leadership from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Niger. She is fluent in English, Spanish and French, and proficient in Hausa.
