Sarah Jaber has more than 17 años de experiencia en desarrollo internacional, including nine years of field experience in Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. Her work has focused on business development, program management and field implementation on issues including local capacity strengthening, sociedad civil, gobernanza local, construcción de paz, protection and victim’s assistance, and social cohesion programming.
En creativo, she currently provides technical leadership to business development efforts and programmatic support to ongoing projects. She has managed programs to support refugee and host communities and conducted women’s rights and human rights training in Jordan. She also worked in Syria, leading a Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation-funded project in Aleppo focused on socio-economic development. In Lebanon, she led the implementation of community mobilization projects across 12 Palestinian refugee camps; managed the first strategic development plan for the Jezzine Union of Municipalities, which includes 44 municipios; and worked with the Tyre Union of Municipalities, which includes 55 municipios, to develop their first disaster risk management plan.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the American University of Beirut and is fluent in Arabic.
