Lisa Block heads up Business Development’s Writing and Editing Unit, overseeing efforts to ensure high-quality proposals and a learning culture for business development (BD) en creativo. Working with Creative’s writers and editors, Lisa develops BD and proposal-writing training, complemented by writing and style guides and editing checklists. She and her team develop analyses of Creative’s proposals and engage staff in brainstorming how to improve bid quality and BD performance. Lisa’s more than 30 years of experience in BD, escribiendo, captura, and staff management includes serving as East and then West Africa Representative for Chemonics and running the company’s proposal development unit.
She holds a B.A. in English and writing from Barnard College in New York, N.Y. As a legacy of her five years in Côte d’Ivoire, Lisa enjoys cooking, especially French cuisine.
