40+ years of promoting positive change

Creative has implemented hundreds of projects around the globe since it was founded in 1977. From education and elections to governance and economic growth, Creative’s efforts have made a difference. For example, since the year 2000, Creative has trained more than 389,000 teachers in 21 countries—providing them with new skills and techniques that ultimately benefit their students.

Libya – Voter Ownership and Increasing Civic Engagement

Elections Date: June 2012 – December 2013

Creative partnered with Libyan civil society organizations in cities across the country to increase citizen understanding of human rights and civic responsibility by building CSO capacity while increasing citizen engagement in, and oversight of, the political process. Lifelong Education Assistance through Rapid Response to Needs (LEARRN)/Worldwide

Date: February 2000 – June 2006

Lifelong Education Assistance through Rapid Response to Needs , funded by USAID, provided assistance to developing countries in education, training and capacity-building, telecommunications and information technologies and related areas of human development. Specific activities accommodated a variety of services that further USAID objectives and benefit counterpart institutions in host countries. Evaluations of specific sectors, and the needs of those served by them, were undertaken, along with project design, program evaluation and impact assessments....

 

 

Malawi Teacher Professional Development Support Program (TPDS)

Date: February 2010 – March 2013

The Teacher Professional Development Support Program provided support to the Malawi Ministry of Education, Science and Technology to address shortfalls in basic education at the primary school level. The project focused on enhancing teacher performance, improving early grade literacy and numeracy for in-school and out-of-school children, improving the quality of materials and improving primary education-related monitoring and evaluation systems and quality. It provided HIV/AIDS programming for schools, education personnel and orphans and vulnerable children....
