Creative Associates, under the USAID-funded Basic Education and Policy Support (BEPS) Activity, assisted USAID/Bangladesh in understanding the challenges to the basic education sector and helped to identify and assess potential entry points for basic education assistance. ABEL II IQC – ABEL II/ CAMBODIA: RADIO FEASIBILITY STUDY

Faced with human and physical constraints to development, Cambodia explored the potential use of radio broadcasts to deliver programming on rural development, education and democracy building/electoral issues. A consortium studied the feasibility of establishing such a radio network that would be managed by U.S. Private Voluntary Organizations and NGOs. ABEL I IQC – ABEL I/YEMEN: WOMEN`S UNION BASIC EDUCATION EFFORTS

The Yemeni Women’s Union, in agreement with the Ministry of Education, provides primary school equivalency programs to women and girls. In response to efforts by the USAID Mission in Yemen and the Yemeni Women's Union to expand opportunities for female participation, Creative evaluated the 11 Women's Union branches for their potential to increase the number of girls who access and complete primary school.
