Somalia Demobilization and Reintegration Assessment

At USAID's request, Creative provided an overview of reintegration programs for ex-combatants making the transition into civilian life. Based on Creative's extensive experience in El Salvador, Mozambique, Nicaragua and Honduras, a workshop was provided for a broader understanding of the challenges societies in transition face and a forum to exchange views on reintegration options and possible applications for Somalia. Sierra Leone: Community Reintegration and Rehabilitation

The World Bank commissioned Creative to carry out the final evaluation of the Bank's Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration Program and the Multi-Donor Trust Fund supporting the disarmament, demobilization, and reintegration process in Sierra Leone. The team concluded that the process not only achieved success in its main objective as a peacebuilding and conflict mitigation mechanism, but provided valuable lessons for countries undertaking similar endeavors in the sub-region....

Senegal/Jeune Filles et Femmes Orientées à Gérer l`avenir du Sénégal (JOG)

Girls in Senegal are less likely to attend school than boys, and more likely to drop out. Creative worked to address this problem through USAID's Jeune Filles et Femmes Orientées à Gérer l`avenir du Sénégal project. It enabled communities, families and girls in 34 locations to play a part in managing Senegal's progress. Rwanda/Education Reform Project

Through a four-year contract with USAID/Kigali, Creative provided technical assistance to Rwanda in its efforts to undertake major educational reform in agricultural policy. The team assisted with the development of agricultural education policy and its integration into current educational programming in the country.
