South Africa Tertiary Education Program Support (TEPS) Activity

Creative was awarded the South Africa Tertiary Education Support Activity, a USAID-funded project which designed, supported and monitored leadership training programs benefiting more than 3,000 South Africans. It addressed human healing through each of its components. South Africa Program Evaluation Implementation of Anti-Apartheid Requirements (CAAA)

Partnering with Aurora Associates International, Inc., Creative evaluated USAID/South Africa's implementation of anti-apartheid requirements with respect to South Africa's first election with a fully franchised population. Creative’s Fourth Generation Evaluation involved representatives of all stakeholder groups in the evaluation. Issues that were evaluated: USAID/South Africa’s process of implementing relevant mandates of the requirements in its programs; the impact of eight years of program activity; and broader implications/lessons learned....

With partners Lance Bailey and Associates and Planning and Development Collaborative International, Inc. Creative provided technical assistance to 20 community-based organizations to strengthen their capacity to meet low-cost housing requirements--a critical issue in post-apartheid South Africa. Creative coordinated 46 training events on policy and institutional analysis, attended by 4,600 participants.
